I would describe myself as a creative and free person– someone who wants to make a difference one step at a time. I have lived in the Cowichan Station community for nearly 10 years now and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. The strong green trees, the peaceful river, the moving history of the area is so beautiful, and I believe that it should never be lost.
I chose to paint a Sockeye Salmon because of its beauty, its link to the communities of the west coast, and because I believe just like the Hub, that they should never be lost either. Doing your part and supporting the HUB is your chance to do something great, and bring back a little bit of history.
