Fridays at The HUB are filled with fun and games at our popular after school recreation drop-in program. Children have a great time with their friends and meeting new people while staying active and healthy through participating in informal sports games, tag games and other organized activities. We have lots of great equipment to try out, from basketballs and soccer balls, to juggling equipment, to a parachute and the always popular Kinball (see photo below).
Here’s what parents are saying about Rec and Roll Fridays:
“I loved that our community’s kids, who all attend different schools, are getting to play together and build relationships. It helps to make our community feel like home.”
“My child and my after school care child LOVED the program. The leaders were fantastic and fun! They were always sweaty and tired (perfect) when I picked them up. I love how much fitness they always did. They really enjoyed the variety of games as well and playing in the forest around the building. Thank you!!!”
“The after school drop-in program has been a highlight of my childrens’ week for years now. They love the group games and often bring the games they learn home with them! It is wonderful exercise and a great way to “shake off” the week!”
