Celebrating Inclusion at The HUB

As many community members know, our mandate here at the CSAA is one of positive inclusion for everybody! In order to reflect this message visually, we have posted Progress Pride Flag decals on our doors. These colourful decals bring more life to our community centre and aim to signal safety and invite a welcoming feeling for all. We are proud to honour inclusion here at the Hub and support our LGBTQ2SIA+ community members! Do you know what this acronym stands for? It means Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Two Spirit, Intersex, Asexual and the plus sign at the end is intended to represent and acknowledge the myriad of sexual and gender identities and expressions that exist. The Black and Brown stripes are to honour Black and Brown LGBTQ2SIA+ people. The HUB is committed to representing and welcoming all community members, and celebrating all love and identities.

Juice FM: The Helping Hand

Please take 5 minutes to complete this form to nominate the Hub and help us get some promotional help for renting our spaces, specifically the new tech that would really help local businesses, artisans and performers with streaming services in our rooms. Highlighting the benefits that the HUB has bought to your life during COVID may also be a powerful supporting message.

Please consider sending it to friends, family or community members who are HUB minded.

Thank you for your support!!!

CSAA Community News Page

The new community news page is active here;
https://cowichanstation.org/community_news/

If you receive any emails for classifieds, missing pets, rentals  etc please forward them along to me and I’ll pop them up on the site.

If there are great notices on the notice board perhaps you could snap a phone photo and send that to me for inclusion.

If you hear of any projects that need doing around the community – graffiti removal, lawn cutting etc let’s use this as a space to call for volunteers in the community.
