Our Story
The HUB Film Club is a community cinema here at the HUB at Cowichan Station. Started in May of 2016, our aim is to bring people of all ages together over good films and of course, popcorn! Films screen on the fourth Friday of every month (except July & August) and we invite you to be a part of it.
We show an eclectic program of films; both classic and new, Canadian and international, for families and for adults. We have access to new theatrical releases approximately 4 months after their 1st run in professional theatres. All proceeds go to support the wonderful, volunteer-run community centre that is the HUB.
Memberships
The regular season films, in-person and online, will be free after the initial purchase of a membership. All proceeds support the HUB at Cowichan Station, our non-profit community centre. The current HUB Film Club Membership Year started in June 2024 and continues through to the end of May 2025.
2024/25 Memberships now pro-rated: Renew or purchase your membership for the first time: $30 Individual/ $55 Family Membership (2 Adults and 3 dependants), now pro-rated to $25 Ind./ $45 Family. This gives membership up to May 2025.
You can become a club member by purchasing at the door at any in-person film night (cash or cards accepted) or pay by e-transfer to hubfilmclub@gmail.com
